Logo from Arabic calligraphy, Colour directions, Typography in two scripts, Product tiers and hang tags, Packaging, Business cards, Out-of-home

Aanja makes fashion accessories that marry Pakistani heritage with modern flair. I designed its identity, from a logo created from Arabic calligraphy for its flow, freedom and beauty to colour, type, tags, packaging and posters.

Context

Aanja is the embodiment of Pakistani heritage and artistic innovation. Its accessories marry tradition with modern flair: vibrant colours and contemporary designs, each piece a testament to craftsmanship and cultural pride.

The mark

The logo was created from Arabic calligraphy, for its qualities of flow, freedom and beauty. It’s drawn on a construction grid and stands on its own on a field of colour.

Colour

Colour runs in three directions, freedom, passion and elegance, across two palettes: ivory, charcoal and a deep red for the heritage side, and marigold, charcoal and a royal blue for the vibrant one. Poppins sets headings and body text, paired with an Arabic-script typeface.
